Yvonne Marie Lancaster

Age 80 of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on December 16 2020. Born on Thanksgiving Day, she was the daughter of the late Mildred and Elmer Picard of Carnegie. Beloved mother to Timothy Lancaster and Jennifer (David) Brenneman. Cherished grandmother to Connor Brenneman, who inherited her humor and attention to detail, and to Cassidy Brenneman, who inherited her immense love of animals and eye for beauty. Sister to John "Jack" Picard and Kathleen Schoedel. She was preceded in death by her brother, Elmer Picard and her sister, Sandra "Sondra" Picard. Yvonne had exquisite taste, an eye for all things beautiful, and could make the most lovely display from the simplest of decor. In 2005, she retired from Great American Federal after 25 years as a banking professional, where she was nominated for the Spirit of Excellence Award by her peers. She will be dearly missed by her family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her name to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Carnegie. Rite of Committal and Interment will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery following a private viewing and Mass of Christian Burial.
