Xanthi Doas (Cindy), 90, of Mount Lebanon passed away on May 13, 2023, in St. Clair hospital, after a very brief illness. Xanthi was born in Koutsohera, Greece, to the late Stathios and Nikolitsa Zotis. In 1957 she married the late George Doas, and moved to Mouzaki, Greece, where the young couple purchased and worked on their large farm filled with olive groves and vineyards. In 1970 she moved to Pennsylvania with her husband and two young sons. Together with her husband George, she owned and operated the Warrington Deli and Restaurant, in Pittsburgh, where her kind smile and friendly nature attracted many loyal customers and lifelong friends. Xanthi is survived by her son, Dennis (Michelle) Doas, of Pittsburgh, PA; her son, Peter (Joanie) Doas, of Fort Worth, TX; her granddaughter, Jorja Doas, of Fort Worth, TX; her brother, Rev. Fr. William (Pres. Mary) Zotis, of Venetia, PA; and many nieces and nephews, both in Greece and the United States, along with a loving extended family. Xanthi was predeceased by her brother, John Zotis and her sister, Alexo Doas, both of Greece. She was predeceased by her loving husband, George, in 2008.
