William J. Witting

Died suddenly at his home, on Saturday, November 3, 2012. Born on January 4, 1955 to Gertrude Joan and the late William Witting in Newark, NJ. Mr. Witting was a long time businessman. He ran and operated several businesses over the years. Such as International Reader's League of Pittsburgh and Citadel Financial. He was a former member of the Burgettstown Fishing Club and the Amen Club. He was loved by all and would help anyone. He is survived by his mother, Gertrude J. Witting; his sister, Joanne Witting; brother, James J. Witting; his son, William J. Witting IV; and stepson, Gabriel Straessley; his aunt, Patti Scherff (the late Charles); and several nieces and nephews. Friends welcome Monday 6-8 p.m., Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp.
