William H. Shock

Age 90, of Mount Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017.Beloved husband of 61 years of Evelyn (Reed) Shock; loving father of Lawrence (Mary Rose) Franko of Buffalo, NY, Lyn (Bill) Hibbert of Pittsburgh, William M. (fiancee Martha Burnup) Shock of Deltona, FL, Susan (Mark) Stephenson of Roseville, CA, Judith (Jeffrey) Scarpinato of Sherrard, lL and Thomas (Gail) Shock of Castle Shannon; cherished Gramps of Anthony (Stefanie) and Michael Franko, Matthew DeLisio, John Tyler and Jason Shock, Ryan Stephenson, John, Tori, Mary and Michael Scarpinato, Ashley and Amy Shock and the late Jessyca Stephenson and Marissa Scarpinato; step-gramps of Vannessa (Kevin) Savona, Robert and Michael Shedlock and the late Mary Marie Shedlock; loving great-gramps of Dominic Mullen, Bella Savona, Penelope Franko, Emily, Anthony and Alexis Shedlock; beloved son of the late Samuel and Nora (Broderick) Shock; brother of the late Samuel, George, John, Robert, Daniel Shock Geraldine Reilly and Helen Goetz; also survived by many nieces, nephews and their families. Bill was a WWII veteran, serving in the US Navy, and was employed as a production supervisor in the corrugated box industry. After retirement, Bill worked many years as a crossing guard in the Mt. Lebanon School District at Julia Ward Howe Elementary School and was known as "Mr. Bill"
