Loving husband of 56 years to Elva Schwartzmiller; father of William R., Jr., Lori Gilbert, Shari Richards and Audra Azoury-Sommer (Mark); brother of Roy Schwartzmiller; grandfather of Alexis, Clayton, Jessica, Jacob and Max; two step-grandsons, Luke and Jesse; one great-grandson, Reid. He served as Chief of the Green Tree Fire Department for 18 years. Member of Guyasuta Lodge 513 F&AM, Valley of Pittsburgh 32nd, Syria Shrine, R.O.J. Court #2.
