William J. Salem

Age 92, of Pittsburgh, on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Sopie (Khalil) and Miriam (Simon); loving father of Michael (Amy) Salem, Mark (Pat) Salem, and Susan (Gary) Williams; stepfather of John (Ann) and Mark Simon; grandfather of Rachel (Steffen), Jenna, and Justin; step-grandfather of Laura and Christine Simon; great-grandfather of Lucy DeLandro; brother of Richard and Michael Salem and Delores Fry; also many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. William was a World War II veteran and a graduate of Duquesne University.
