William A. Phoennik

Age 95, of South Fayette Township passed away in Country Meadows on Thursday, February 23, 2018.

Beloved husband for 62 years of the late Ruth Dezort Phoennik.

Father of Mary E. Phoennik and John R. Phoennik and his wife Shelley.

Grandfather of Connor, Courtney and Rachel Phoennik.

Bill was the son of the late Mary (Cerutti) and Stephen Phoennik. He worked and retired from the U.S Postal Service and a steel worker from J and L Steel. Bill served his country in the army during WW II in England, Normandy and Northern France.

Friends welcome on Sunday from 4pm to 8pm, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE ( 412-563-2800), 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp., 15220. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday 10:00 am SS Simon and Jude Church. Interment with military honors in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Tuesday at 1:30pm. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY.
