William Lee Myers

Age 82, of Pittsburgh, on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Beloved husband of Mary Ellen (Kearns) Myers; son of the late Edythe Myers; loving father of Melissa Myers, Kelly Myers, Keith Myers, William (BJ) Myers, Kimberly Scully and Sandy Kolad; brother of Agnes Zurick; grandfather of Erik Myers and Chloe Halleran, and Pappy to Gus Gus; and many close family and friends. Bill was a member of St Philip Parish, retired Detective with the Pittsburgh Police with 40 years service, Army veteran having served as an Airborne Ranger during the Korean Conflict , active member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, 50 year member of the FOP-Fort Pitt Lodge #1, member of the Veterans Police Association, and the American Legion Post 710 Pittsburgh Police. Friends welcome Sunday 5-8 and Monday 2-4, 6-8pm, William Slater II Funeral Service (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd, Scott Twp 15220. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00am Tuesday at St Philip Parish, Crafton. Burial with full military honors 10:30am Wednesday in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
