William J. Goodboy Sr.

Age 76 of Mt. Washington, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023. Beloved son of the late Jesse W. and Idabelle (Burns) Goodboy. Loving Father of Shannon (Ron) Pritchard, Michelle (David) Paulina and William J. Goodboy Jr. (Nicole). Cherished Grandfather of Brittney Renee, Tyler Jesse, Dalton Ryan, Jordan Damian, Zachary James, Kendra Michelle, Kayla Anne, Jesse Anthony and Sabrina Rose. Loving Great Grandfather of Zayden James and Silas David. Beloved brother of the late Sharon R. Hogle. Loving Uncle of Janet (Kyle) Jenkins, John (Megan) Hogle, Bill (Amy) Hogle and Marianne Hogle. Loving “GUB” of Great Nieces and Nephews. Bill served in the US Navy and was a Professional Dancer in Pittsburgh during the mid 1960’s at the Playhouse and with Don Brocket Productions. He was an active member of the Cinosam Club of Mt. Washington and Scottish Rite. Bill was also a member of the Pittsburgh Movie Club and wrote articles for Scribes and the National Historical Society. Family and friends welcome Thursday 2-8 pm, Masonic service 7:30pm, WM. SLATER & SONS INC. (412-381-3345) 301 Virginia Ave, Mt. Washington 15211 where a funeral service will be held Friday 11:00 am. Burial to follow in Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
