William A. Fink

On June 5, 2018, William Alfred Finke Sr. passed away at the age of 88 of natural causes.

Born January 31, 1930, Bill Finke was a graduate of Central Catholic High
School and was a long time resident of Mt. Lebanon. Bill worked in the rail road and coal industries before retiring.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Beatrice (Pellegrino) and was preceded in death by his wife Jean Catherine (Schuster.) Bill was the beloved father of Bill Finke, Jr. of Pittsburgh, Jan (Tom) Hyman of Dallas, TX, Tom (Heather) Finke of Charlotte, NC and Steve (Dani) Finke of Ridgefield, CT.

Bill or "Pap" was also the loving grandfather of Danny Hyman, Ashley, Caroline,
William, Walker and Michael Finke, and Kiley and Keira Finke.

Born in Hazelwood, Bill was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mary Finke, his sister Adele Joyce (Howard), and his brothers Charles (Lois) and Jack. He is survived by his beloved sister-in-law Mary Finke and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects Thursday, June 7th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, at Freyvogel-Slater Funeral Directors, 112 Fort Couch Rd., Bethel Park. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Thomas More Church on Friday, June 8th at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Pittsburgh Humane Society, 1101 Western Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15233 or to Central Catholic High School, 4720 5th Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15213
