Age 75, of Carnegie, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Beloved husband of Jean. Dear father of Becki Sullivan (Dan), Tammy Rapp and Robert Blystone (Jessica). Loving grandfather of Samantha Carr (Nate), Alexis Patterson, Delaney Sullivan and Blake Sullivan. Bill was a USMC Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Gateway Center Local Union 95 where he was a Stationary Engineer. Bill was also a Charter Boat Captain in Lake Erie. He loved fishing, hunting and NASCAR, but, Bill’s greatest love was his wife and taking her to car shows. Family and friends are welcome 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday, March 4, 2025, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220 (412-563-2800) Funeral Service 12:30 PM Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the Funeral Home. Burial With Military Honors will follow at 2:00 PM in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. If desired memorial donations may be sent to Wounded Warrior Project, 875 Greentree Rd., Bldg 7, Suite 700, Pgh., PA 15220.
