Age 89, of Scott Twp., on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Loving father of Penny, Bonnie, and Jill Pfister. Beloved husband of Louise Russell Doutt, her daughter, Chrissy Doutt Clark (Chris) and grandsons, Nicholas and Zachary. Preceded in death by sister Bette Mincin, parents, William Groves Pfister and Helen Robinson. Also survived by cousin Betty Wetzel; lifelong friends from the Warrington Avenue playground and former co-workers from Conrail/Penn Central railroads. Friends welcome Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220 (412-563-2800) where funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Burial with Military Honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will follow at 12:30p.m.
