Age 76, of Pittsburgh, peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2017. Beloved husband for 56 years of Edith; dear father of Edward Price and Lisa (Mike) Evans; loving grandfather of Michael, Daniel, and Rachael Evans, Kaleigh and the late Justin Price; special nephew of the late Ida and Rev. Chauncey Hapgood, who raised him after the death of his parents, William and Lilly Price. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Donald Price ( surviving spouse, LaNora). Walter retired after 25 years as a groundskeeper with the Three Rivers Stadium.
