Age 81, of Scott Twp., on Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Beloved husband of Virginia P. (Roby) Bodnar; dear brother of Nicholas A. (late Eileen) Bodnar, John L. (Cheri) Bodnar, Joanne M. (Walt) Kalyn, and the late Maryann Laszczynski; brother-in-law of Russ Laszczynski; nephew of Clara Roebuck; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his favorite dogs, Tinker and Marne. Friends welcome Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., where Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Burial with military honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Monday at 10:30 a.m. If desired, memorial donations to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd., Pittsburgh, 15237 or Animal Rescue League, 6620 Hamilton Ave., Pittsburgh 15206.
