Virginia E. Gargiulo

Age 89, of Scott Twp., on Saturday, April 8, 2023.  Beloved wife of the late William J.  Dear mother of Dale (Ed) Seth and Dana (Al) Dragotto.  Loving grandmother of Billy and Matt Seth, Lindsay (Adam) Delconte, Jackie Schwartzmiller and Matt Dragotto.  Great grandmother of Ellie & Lia Delconte and Poppy Robinson.  Sister of Myrtle Cairns, Thelma Backo, and the late Robert Marion, Paul Marion, Grace Bittner, Lou Marion, Carry Keifer, Anna Mae Simpson, Irma Snowden and Walter Marion.  Ginny was a longtime member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church.  In addition to being a very hard worker, she was an extremely devoted mom and grandmother who always kept things light and made us laugh.  She worked for many years with Gladiuex, making food for the airlines.  After retirement, she became a cafeteria lady for Chartiers Valley School District.  She was a true character who will be sorely missed.  Family and friends are welcome 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  Sunday, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Road., Scott Twp., 15220, (412-563-2800) where a Funeral Service will be Monday at 9:30 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 55 Forsythe Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15220.  www.slaterfuneral.com
