Violet Louise George

Peacefully, at Country Meadows, on February 28, 2013. Born Violet Garrison on January 15, 1918 in Paterson, NJ. She and her beloved husband, Nieme raised their family in Jeannette, PA. She was preceded in death by Neime in 1995. Violet was an excellent seamstress and her handknit baby sweaters were sold in shops in Greensburg. She remains a role model for her daughters, Mary Lou (Ed) Pacella, Alice (Carl) VanTine, and Jeryl (Jim) Moy; and granddaughters, Alexis and Marisa Pacella, and Jennifer Moy. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Jeannette was private. Donations are welcome to cancer and medical research charities. Arrangements were entrusted to WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, Scott Twp.
