Vincent Zavarella

Age 84, of Green Tree, and formerly a resident of the Manchester section of Pittsburgh, passed on Friday, January 3, 2013. Beloved husband of Patricia (Merriman); dear father of Eric (Tiffany) and Nash (Jennifer) Zavarella; loving grandfather of Chase, Skylar, Trent, and Josalyn. "Zav" was a firefighter for the city of Pittsburgh for 40 years. He and his dog were regular walkers at Tower Field Park and around the Green Tree area. He will also be remembered as a player and coach for the Manchester Rams football team from back in the day. Vince served and is a veteran of the Korean War. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
