Thomas Michael Donahue

Age 77 –Passed away peacefully at his home on March 20, 2016.

Beloved husband for 52 years of Clare (Schano) Donahue. Loving father of Kelly Clare Donahue of Mt. Lebanon and Christopher (Christina) Donahue of Greensboro, N. C.

Cherished grandfather of Brileigh and Caden Donahue.

Tom was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and a 1960 graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.

Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy as a carrier based fighter pilot with Squadron VF-13. He also served as a liaison officer with the U.S. Air Force with the 434th Fighter Interceptor Squadron.

After completing his service in the U.S. Navy, Tom continued to pursue his passion for aviation and flew as a commercial pilot for TWA for three decades.

According to all who knew him – Tom was a loyal friend and a true gentleman in every sense of the word.
