Theresa (Troiani) Mitchell

It is with deep sorrow that we announce that Theresa (Troiani) Mitchell has passed away at the age of 80 years, though if you had asked her, she would have said she was 39. Theresa departed peacefully surrounded by the ones she loved. She loved gardening, cooking, and hosting. Her welcoming heart extended to anyone who entered her home, and they never left her house with an empty belly. Above all, Theresa’s greatest joy was her long marriage, the accomplishments of her children, and the bonds she shared with her grandchildren who brought her endless joy. Theresa was the daughter of Louis Troiani Sr. and Concetta (Bosco) Troiani, beloved wife of 57 years to Nino Mitchell Sr., proud mother of Nina Mitchell and Nino (Autumn) Mitchell Jr., cherished Nunny to Jessica, Nino, Allie, Angelina, Antania, Lucciano, and Jia’Vella, and sister of Connie Kelsey, Carol (Joseph) Tortorea and Antoionette “Toni” (Billy) Lauro. She was preceded in death by her siblings Marie Troiani, Nicholas Troiani, Dolores "Dee" Zanello, Louise DeNardo, Louis "King Louis" Troiani Jr., Michael Troiani, Reynold “Renny” Troiani, and Julius Troiani. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Theresa lived for sunny summer days, and left this earth on a breezy 80 degree day this June 14, 2025. Heaven has gained an angel, and surely has never been so well fed. She will be missed dearly.
