THELMA V. ROUSH was born February 27, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, to Beryl F. and Ina Dean Capps. She departed this life on March 9, 2021, at the home of her daughter, Jennifer, due to Pulmonary Fibrosis.
She married Thomas F. Roush on June 13, 1992.
She worked for Oberlin College for approximately ten years. Afterward, she took up gardening, animal care, and a growing family.
For nine years, she was a Girl Scout leader and also volunteered for the Girl Scout Service Unit. She volunteered at Black Horse Horse Rescue in Mississippi. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Roush, her daughters, Jennifer Kime and Jaclyn Robinson and her husband Patrick Robinson, her stepchildren Eric Roush, Matthew Roush, and Michelle Little; her grandchildren, Leila, Sharifa, Khaled, Jasmine Fadel; Alicia, Kaitlyn, and Zachary Robinson; Deosha, Kiera and Jordaya Little; Messiah and Kaleana Roush; her great-grandchildren, Avery, and Aiden Robinson; her nephews, Joe Jones and Steven Capps; and great-nephew, Carter and Ty Jones and Henry Capps.
Thelma is preceded by her brother David Capps, her aunt Mary Evelyn LaMont, Beryl F Capps, and Ina Dean Capps
