Age 7 of Thornburg, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Beloved son of Nathan Andrew and Marguerite (Castle) Christy; brother of Sebastien, Lillian, Nicole, and Christina; he is survived also by maternal grandparents Bruce and Jo Ann Castle; paternal grandparents Martha (Michael) Shefler and the late Donald Christy; nephew of Mallory Castle, Lynn Christy and Megan Adkins. Sam was loved and cared for by his very special nurse Crystal Myers and his many other beloved family members and friends. Sam was a 2nd grader at Watson Institute in Bridgeville. He loved watching Jeopardy and Mickey Mouse, playing with his siblings and will be remembered for always cheerfully greeting everyone with a fist-bump or a high-five. Sam was a very loved little boy who will be missed by all his family and friends.
