Bianco, Samuel ("Tore") on Tuesday October 10, 2017 passed away, peacefully with his wife by his side on their 53rd Wedding Anniversary after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 14, age (75) of Beechview, Husband of Ruthann (Opferman); adored father of Tina (Paul) Leonard, Lisa (Greg) Ceravolo, Lori, Anthony (Christine), Angel (Scott) Efferin. Cherished and proud "Pap-Pap" of 11 Grandchildren; Angelo and Dominic, Gregorio, Vanessa and Amanda, Anthony, Alex and Olivia, Brandon, Ryan and Jeremy. Dear brother of Anthony "Bucky", Bobby and Bernadette (Andy) Tumicki and the late Catherine "Kitty" Magnotta. He leaves to mourn numerous nieces and nephews and will be missed by many. Tore was a veteran of the US Army Special Forces Paratrooper and a retired member of Boilermakers Local #154, with 32 years of service. Tore was an avid golfer and played regularly with dear friends. He was also a lifelong sports fan and enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren. Friends received from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday (Boilermaker Ritual at 7 p.m.), and 2-8 p.m. on Sunday at William Slater II Funeral Service, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11:00am St. Catherine of Siena Church, Beechview, followed by followed by Interment National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville with full military honors.
