Samuel J. Alexander, age 78, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Beloved son of the late Samuel P. and Mary (Birmingham) Alexander. Loving brother of the late Charles R. Alexander and Mary Ann Shortuse. Cherished uncle of Steve (Carolyn) Alexander and the late Richard Shortuse and Lynn Cabrera. Loving great uncle of Nolan and Liam Alexander, Alec Shortuse and Matthew Cabrera. Family and friends welcome Monday 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at WM. SLATER & SONS INC. (412-381-3345) 301 Virginia Ave., Mt. Washington 15211 where a blessing service will be held Monday at 12:00 noon. Burial with Military Honors to follow in Jefferson Memorial Park.
