Ruth K. Duessel

Age 89, of Robinson Township, on Thursday, January 13, 2022, daughter of the late Robert L. Kirkpatrick and Elizabeth Toth; beloved wife of the late David W. Duessel; loving mother of David (Linda), Susan Thompson, Donna, and Marilyn Johns (Tom); sister of Mary Wilk, Carol Messner, Robert, and Nancy (deceased).

Ruth delighted in baking, traveling, and making crafts with her eight grandchildren: Stephen (Sidanyi), David, James (Jen Moritz), Rebecca, Caroline, Anne, Lauren, and Sarah. She was an active member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church for 60 years and a retired home economics teacher of Pittsburgh Public Schools. Thank you to the staff at Concordia at Rebecca Residence in Allison Park for their loving care.

Friends welcome Friday, January 21, 2022, 4-7 p.m. at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp. Funeral service on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Stephen Lutheran Church. Interment in Homewood Cemetery.
