Ruth S. Altenhof

Age 100, a life-long resident of Mt. Washington, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Norman H. Altenhof; loving mother of Arlene (John) Shanks; cherished "Gongie" of Jennifer Spottiswood (Jamie) and Jessica (Patrick) Boyle; loving "Great-Gongie" of Zachary, Ian, Riley Spottiswood, Caleb and Anna Boyle. Ruth was a member of the Mt. Washington Congregational Church and the Duquesne Heights Christian Church for many years. She worked as a power machine operator, retiring from Mt. Lebanon Awning.
