Rosemarie C. (Scardetta) Matlak, age 92, of Mount Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. Beloved wife of 70 years to Joseph A. Matlak. Loving mother of Matthew (Gypsy) Matlak, Mark (Karen) Matlak and John (the late Diane Q.) Matlak. Adored grandma of Justin (Kembly) Matlak, Mallory (Dan) Rough and Zachary Matlak. Loving great grandma of Meadow Rough and Noah Matlak. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Philomina (Tordalino) Scardetta. Loving sister of Louis Scardetta and the late Cecelia “Sissy” Scardetta. Loving sister in law of Bernard (Patty) Matlak. Cherished Aunt of Bernard (Georgette) Matlak and Mary Jo (Chris) Cassano. Rosemarie was so proud that she was a graduate and dedicated, outstanding nurse and supervisor at St. Francis Hospital in Lawrenceville for her career. She touched so many people’s lives. NO VISITATION. Family and friends are welcome to attend the funeral mass on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, St. Michael the Archangel Parish.
