Age 81, passed away on January 23, 2017. Loving husband of Margaret J. Rose (Kuzma); beloved father of Julie (Keith) Collins, Shari (Terry) Boyle and Melinda (Max) Frangulova; and cherished grandfather of Sasha Frangulov and Katya Frangulova; son of the late Henry and Frances Rose; brother of the late Robert, William Rose, Grace Zambo and Betty Shakley; also many nieces and nephews. He was a strong mentor and devoted family man who led by example and always put his loved ones before his own needs. Ron had a successful career with the H.J. Heinz Company for 31 years where he held several management positions, retiring in 1996 as Manager, Facilities and Management Services, World Headquarters. Previously, he worked for Blue Cross of Western PA. He was active in the Association for Systems Management (ASM), holding leadership positions including President Pittsburgh Chapter and International Director, as well as receiving several achievement awards. Ron also served for six years in the Air Force Reserves. He was a graduate of McKeesport High School and Robert Morris College.
