Age 76, of Pittsburgh, on Sunday, October 15, 2017. Beloved husband of Anna (Rush) McDowell; son of the late Robert and Clara Mae McDowell; loving step father of Darlene (Scott) McGrath and Christine (George Leighlitner) Hartz; brother of the late Robert and Thomas McDowell; step-grandfather of Sarah (Nick Abbinanti) McGrath, Sean (Sammie Kaminski) McGrath, and Kristy (Robert) Rodriguez. Roger was retired District Sales Manager for United, Eastern and Continental Airlines, member of Skal International Travel Professionals and Past President of Skal-Pittsburgh organization, member of Centennial Lodge #544 F&AM, Carnegie, PA, longtime member of the Fellows Club and Interline Club. Roger was known as the voice of Reddy Kilowatt and sang with the Starlets on Parade on KDKA Radio. Friends welcome Tuesday 5-8 and Wednesday 2-4, 6-8pm , William Slater II Funeral Service (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd, Scott Twp 15220. Funeral Service 11:00am Thursday at the funeral home.
