It is with great sadness that the family of Robert August Sunseri announces his passing on Sunday, August 12th at the age of 66.
A native of Pittsburgh, Rob was a 1969 graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and attended the University of Pittsburgh. After earning his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, he was an emergency room doctor at Central Medical Pavilion and Divine Providence Hospital for 25 years. Following his career in medicine, he helped to run the family business, Pennsylvania Macaroni Company.
Loving son of Salvatore and Sally Sunseri, Rob will be forever remembered by his loving wife of 39 years, Leslie and their children, Dante and Carlo (Elise), by his precious grandson, Cassius, by his sister Judy (Geno) Como and brothers David (Cindy), Rick (Jody), and Billy Joe (Fifi) Sunseri, by his loving aunts, Joanie and Dolly Ammell and by his many nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
Rob loved music, playing chess, skiing the slopes, and being at the lake, but most of all he loved being with his family on his farm. A PRIVATE service will be held to celebrate his life.
