Robert P. Stewart

Age 82, of Green Tree, on Monday, November 13, 2017. Beloved Husband for 53 years to the late Ruth (Fedak); dear Dad of Robert (Melanie) Stewart, Douglas (Karen) Stewart, Jennifer (Scott) Hagan, and Carolyn (Max) Fisher; loving Pap of Rob and Kevin Stewart; Ashley, Kaitlin, and Emily Stewart; and Colin, Brendan, and Luke Fisher. Bob graduated from Princeton (N.J.) High School in the top 20 of his class with seven varsity letters in baseball, soccer, and basketball. He graduated with a B. A. in Economics from Duke University while playing four years as a varsity soccer player. Bob was a sales executive at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company where he was an 11-time group sales leader and from which he retired after 34 years in 1991. He also had a 10-year involvement with the Green Tree Athletic Association as both a coach and baseball commissioner. Most of all, Bob enjoyed people. He loved spending time with family and friends, playing golf, rooting for his beloved Pittsburgh sports teams, and wintering in Florida.
