Unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, age 80, of Upper St. Clair (formerly of Whitehall Borough). Survived by his loving wife, Mary Lou, of 57 years; his daughters, Sandra Roell (Robert), Linda Scott (David), and Patricia Inks (Michael); and five grandchildren, Brian and David Roell, Benton Scott, Renee and Karlee Inks; loving brother of Marjorie Deemer and James Kahl; also will be sadly missed by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bob loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and was a devoted Pittsburgh Penguin, Pirate, and Steelers fan. Family and friends will be received Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at FREYVOGEL - SLATER FUNERAL DIRECTORS, (opposite Macy's South Hills Village) 112 Fort Couch Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15241. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Saturday at Saint Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin, 5200 Greenridge Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205. Burial will be private to the family at a later date.
