Robert (Bob) John Conway, 61, of Dormont, passed away suddenly on April 21, 2025.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on April 10th, 1964, Bob was the son of Robert and Carmella Conway. He graduated from Keystone Oaks High School and initially began his career in the automotive industry. After several years, he transitioned into the mortgage industry, where he spent over two decades, ultimately serving as Vice President at Metro Advisor Group. Throughout his career, Bob treated every client like family, offering them care and dedication that earned him respect and admiration.
Beyond his professional life, Bob was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His love for his family was limitless, and he was always the first to offer a helping hand or a listening ear. For 34 years, he was a loving, supporting, and caring partner to his wife, Lori Conway (56). Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep sense of loyalty to each other. Their relationship was the foundation of their family, and together, they created a warm, loving home that welcomed everyone. Bob’s commitment to Lori, and to the family they created, was a testament to his character—his loyalty and dedication to those he loved knew no bounds.
Bob’s pride and joy were his children—Jonathan (32), Brittany (30), and Christina Conway (18). He was the proudest father, always making time to support his kids in every endeavor, offering advice, encouragement, and a steady presence in their lives. He cherished every moment spent with them—whether it was family vacations, heart-to-heart conversations, or just the day-to-day joys of being a dad. His children were the heart of his world, and the love he gave them will be carried forward in the legacy he leaves behind.
As a grandfather to Mason and Hadley, Bob found immense joy in watching them grow. He was a proud, and devoted grandfather who cherished every moment he spent with his grandchildren. Whether it was playing, laughing, or simply being present, Bob’s love for them was clear in everything he did.
Bob is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lori Conway; children, Jonathan Conway, Brittany Conway, and Christina Conway; two grandchildren, Mason Conway and Hadley Conway; and his brother and sister, Linda McAndrews and Michael Conway. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Conway and his mother, Carmella Conway.
Whether on the golf course, in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, or cheering on his loved ones, Bob had a passion for life. Known for his generosity and kind heart, he was a constant source of support and joy to everyone around him.
