Robert A. "Bob" Grandinetti Sr.

Age 81, of Scott Twp., passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024. Beloved husband of 57 years of Donna K. Grandinetti (Martino).  Loving father of Lisa Carini (George), Thomas Grandinetti (Martha), and the late Robert A. Grandinetti Jr. Doting grandfather of Georgia Carini.  Brother of Virginia Joyce (Victor), Dorothy Paradis (Roger), and the late Shirley Wiernik (the late Henry).  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bob was a 1960 graduate of Carnegie High School where he was known as “Schooch”.  He received his Bachelor of Science of Mathematics in Education at California University of Pennsylvania in 1966.  Bob was an honorary member of two fraternities, Chi Beta Psi and Phi Sigma Pi.  He received his Masters of Education in Mathematics from Duquesne University in 1971 and attended the University of Pittsburgh on a Community of Scholars Internship in Mathematics. Bob enlisted in the Pennsylvania National Guard from 1960-1966.  He was a mathematics teacher at Sto-Rox High School from 1966 until 1997 and was the Math Department Chairman for 15 years.

Simon and Jude Church, St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, 1607 Greentree Rd. Entombment to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
