Robert "Bob" Thomas Freidhoff

Age 76, of Mt. Lebanon (originally from Vinco, PA) died peacefully on Monday, February 21, 2022, at the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh. He is survived by his children, Kimberly Merritts (Douglas); Matthew Freidhoff (Eszter); his granddaughter, Emma Freidhoff, as well nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca "Becky," and siblings Joseph Freidhoff and Fay Kuhne. Bob was a graduate of Bishop Carrol High School in Ebensburg, PA. He served in the US Air Force from 1966-1969, including a year of service in Vietnam. He then attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and worked as a defense contract auditor for the federal government. Bob enjoyed flea markets, fixing clocks, black cats, and sharing his interests and knowledge with others. He was also very proud of his military service. A private service will be held for family. An additional graveside service with military honors will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Western PA Humane Society in Bob's memory.
