Age 93, of Mt. Lebanon, died on April 29, 2018. Born April 4, 1925, in Pittsburgh. Son of the late Joseph and Marie Lucia (DiLucchio) Boscia; husband of the late Louise; brother of the late Nick, Dan, Joe, and Lou Boscia; beloved father of and survived by Gerard Boscia (companion, Marilyn), Robert Boscia (Evelyn), and Judy Wilfrom (Robert); stepfather of Peggy (Tom) Makowski, Michael Cooney, Suzanne (Ralph) Altieri, and the late William Cooney (surviving wife, Kathy); also numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Visitation on Wednesday 3-8 at the William Slater II Funeral Service, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Township (412-563-2800). Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday 10am in Our Lady of Grace Church, Scott Twp., followed by a celebration of Bob's life at Peter's Place. In his youth, Bob was an outstanding athlete for sandlot football teams in East Liberty, particularly the prestigious Traders and Barney A.C. teams. He became a champion bowler and golfer. He was a founder, coach, and first general manager of the Churchill Area Baseball Association. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
