Richard E. Lowman

Age 78, of Mt. Washington, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. Beloved husband of 56 years of Kathleen (Mooney) Lowman; loving father of Richard E. (Andrea) Lowman II, Greg (Alissa) Lowman, and Jason (Melissa) Lowman; cherished Pap of Dustin (Stephanie), Jack, Jake, Josh, and Jon Lowman, and Aiden Anderson; great-grand Pap of Dustin, Jr.; beloved brother of Marlene (the late Jim) Burns, Linda (Mike) Vega, and the late Gary D. (surviving spouse, Donna) Lowman; best friend and brother-in-law of Bob Mooney; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Rich was a City of Pittsburgh Firefighter for 31 years, serving as Fire Captain for 16 years at Station 28. He retired in 2004.
