Richard G. Green

Age 81, of Pittsburgh, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.  Richard is survived by his loving children, Mary Green and Anne Green; his grandson, Graeme; and his sister, Donna Jean.  He worked as a driver his whole life and drove a school bus for the last 15 years.  Richard was a longtime active member of Covenant Community Presbyterian Church where he was a deacon and served on several councils.  Richard proudly served in the United States Air Force and was very active with American Legion Post 823. His favorite hobby was working on model trains and visiting train museums.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, May 7 from 12-3 PM in William Slater II Funeral Service, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 412-563-2800.  His Funeral Service will take place Monday, May 8, 1 PM in Covenant Community Presbyterian Church, 1630 Greentree Road. Interment to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Health Foundation, University Drive C (151), Building 30 – Ground Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15240.
