Richard F. Darges

Age 61 of Scott Twp. passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Beloved Husband of 31 years to Carolyn F. (Wyda) Darges, Loving Father of Joshua T. Darges and Joseph F. Darges. Beloved Son of Edward F. and Patricia (Brown) Darges. Loving Brother of David E. Darges, Michael W. Darges, John A. (Sharon) Darges, Edward P. Darges and Christine (Michael) Miller. Also survived by a large loving family. Richard was a Cub Scout Master of Cub Scout Troop # 262, Scott Twp, Assistant Scout Master of Troop #262, A Member of The Order of the Arrow and known to family and friends as “Mr Science”. Richard loved all outdoor sports and was one of the most adventurous people you ever met. Family and friends welcome Friday 2-8pm, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd, Scott Twp, 15220. Funeral mass Saturday 10:00am St. Barbara Church of Corpus Christi Parish. Burial will be private to the family.  In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local food bank or a charity of your choice.
