Age 74, of Pittsburgh, on Sunday, April 8, 2018. Beloved son of the late Ralph Oscar and Catherine Young Smith; loving father of Michelle (Todd) Way; brother of Margie (Joe) Richey, William (Denise) Smith, Cathy (Alan) Hertrick, Tom (Judy) Smith, the late Chip (Peggy) Smith; grandfather of Samie and Tanner Way. After retirement, Butch enjoyed spending time at "the property". He was proud of his service in the US Army, was an avid hunter and fisherman, but especially loved the time he got to spend with his family and friends. All are welcome Thursday 2-8pm William Slater II Funeral Service (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp. Service and Interment private by family. In lieu of flowers the family ask's that a tree be planted in his memory.
