Age 73, of Pittsburgh, peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Beloved wife for 48 years of Bruce Shirey. Daughter of the late Joseph & Dorothy Kowalewski. Dear sister of David (Nancy) Kowalewski. Phyllis retired after 31 years from Verizon. She was very active in local area Pittsburgh Senior Citizen Centers. Family and friends are welcome 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220, (412-563-2800) where a Blessing Service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday.
