Paul F. Matvey

Age 89, of Scott Twp., on Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Beloved husband of 49 years to Louise E. Matvey. Father of Marlene (Chick) Mastandrea; brother of the late Sophia Spirko, Joseph Jr., Andrew, Helen Nemetz, Susan Steedle, Mary Helinski, Rudolph and John Matvey. Paul served in the US Army during WW II, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and was retired from Federated Investments and The Veterans Administration. He was devoted member of Our Lady of Grace Church, member of Mushers Bowling League, an avid golfer. He also enjoyed playing poker with his friends and trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Friends welcome Thursday and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10 AM Our Lady of Grace Church. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
