Paul H. "Herky" Kotek

Age 69, formerly of Mt. washington, passed away suddenly on Tuesday evening, December 9, 2014. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Kathleen (Costello) Kotek; and his four children, Paul (Marcia) Kotek of Butler, PA, Michael (Amy) Kotek of Denver, NC, Patrick (Alesia) Kotek of Mentor, OH, and Maureen (Ken) Mohney of Toledo, OH; as well as 11 grandchildren, Paul, Emily, Jacob, Braden, Collin, Caitlin, Patrick, Jr., Hanna, Brendan, Moira, and Kieran; brother of William (Barb) Kotek of Brookline, PA; nephew of Virginia Turba and Emma Ziegler of Pittsburgh. Paul was a proud Marine, a man who loved his faith and family. Paul loved to hunt, fish, and woodwork. He was a member of GCIU Local #24 since 1968. Family and friends welcome Friday 2-4:30 and 6-9 p.m. WM. SLATER & SONS, INC., (412-381-3345), Virginia Ave. and Kearsarge St., Mt. Washington.
