Paul B. Cartwright

Age 72, passed peacefully surrounded by family in Jefferson Hills, PA on Thursday, July 1, 2021. Beloved son of the late T. Edward and Mary Cartwright. He is survived by his siblings, Margaret "Peg" Cartwright, Joseph Cartwright, Thomas Cartwright (Sandy Upor), and the late Barbara Mary "Missy B." Cartwright. Beloved father of Sean Cartwright, Heather (Sean) Elliott, and Colin Cartwright (Michelle Saldevar). Beloved grandpa of Sean Cartwright, Jr., Ethan Cartwright, Annabelle Elliott, Olivia Elliott, and Lincoln Cartwright. Beloved uncle of Kristen (Brian) Hickey, David (Robin) Cartwright, and Victoria (Matt) Christen and their families. Everyone knew Paul as the conversationalist of the group -- quick with a joke and a light of a smoke. He enjoyed shooting pool, playing cards, listening to music -- especially anything from Chicago, and watching movies. A former Marine serving two tours in Vietnam. He will be laid to rest with military honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
