Paul E. Bametzreider

Age 81, of Scott Township, passed away peacefully, after a brief illness on March 28, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Susan Michaux Bametzreider, now reunited after 25 years. Son of the late Paul Louis & Mary Agnes Bametzreider. Father of Paul Christopher (Christina) Bametzreider, Holly (Terrence) Skelley, Mary Gretchen (Ralph) Edgar, Susan Marie (David) Ranalli. Brother of Thomas (Beverly), Robert (Eileen) and many brothers & sisters in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Proud Pap to Vincent Paul, Paul Joseph (Laura), Jonathon David (Courtney), Sarah Grace (Luke), Lauren Susan, and Joel Michaux. Loving great grandfather to Parker, Eleanor, Rosalind, Bennett, Veronica, Charlotte, and Henry. Beloved step-grandfather to John, Alexis, Cara, Nicole, D.J., and Katy. 

Paul attended St. Rosalia Grade School, Central Catholic High School, and Duquesne University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and his Masters Degree. He was also extremely dedicated to both Our Lady of Grace Church & School. Paul enjoyed spending time with family, especially in Stone Harbor, NJ, where he vacationed for over 60 years. Most of all, his grandchildren were his pride & joy. 

Family & friends welcome Tuesday 2-4, 6-8pm in WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd, Scott Twp 15220. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, 11am in Our Lady of Grace Church (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Burial will be private to the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CORE - Center for Organ Recovery & Donation, or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
