Patricia Mazzarini

With deep love and gratitude for her long and faithful life, the family of Patricia Mazzarini (Carey) announces her peaceful passing at age 92.

Born on March 4, 1933 to Ralph W and Elizabeth Carey in the East End of Pittsburgh. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Anthony Mazzarini Sr, her parents, her beloved sister Margaret, her daughter Annette Mazzarini, and grandson Neil Smith.

Patricia's life was grounded in her Roman Catholic faith, devoted to her children and grandchildren. Those who knew Pat will remember her as a huge sports fan and enjoyed cheering on the Pirates, Steelers her Tampa Bay teams and of course a proud supporter of her children's activities and sports teams. She was a wonderful sister, cousin, aunt, friend and cherished mom. Her fun-loving spirit and laughter were infectious, and she had a way of making the family homestead a place of fun.

She is survived by seven of her children- Karen Mazzarini and Patty Balk both of Holiday, Florida, Donna Palladino (Jerry) of Hudson, Florida, Diane Popek (Jeff) of Mt.Lebanon, Merita Smith of Oakdale, son Tony Mazzarini Jr. (Michelle) of Scott Township, and Janet Mazzarini Lawson of Moon Township. She will be sadly missed by grandchildren Jennifer Boynton, Andy (Shaun)Leopardi, Tony (Jamie) Leopardi, Natasha, Brandon and Brittany Smith, Anna Balk, Cara (Kyle)Cranston, Alyssa (Sean) Pierce, AJ (anna) Mazzarini, III, Amanda (Thomas) Goffas, Gregory, Trevor and Spencer Lawson.

Also survived by six great grandchildren: Brayden, Jackson and Trinady Smith, Serena and Adrian Cranston, Oliver Pierce and Neveaha Smith.

Family and friends welcome on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd. Scott Twp., 15220.

Mass will be Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 10:00 am at Corpus Christi Parish, Holy Child Church, 212 Station Street, Bridgeville PA 15017. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations made be made in her memory to Tunnel2Towers Foundation, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
