Patricia (Drost) Baessler

Patricia (Drost) Baessler, 65, of Carnegie PA passed unexpectedly on Friday April 9, 2021. She was born February 18, 1956 in Pittsburgh to the late Dr Paul and Anna (Hoyson) Drost. She received a Master's Degree in Psychology from Duquesne University & dedicated her life to serving those in the developmentally disabled community and later on in the broader social services field. Patricia was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church in Carnegie. She was a dedicated single mother of 5 children and beloved dog, Raleigh. She was an avid reader, cook, and cherished spending time with her granddaughter.
She is survived by her children Ryan Baessler, Allison (Gabriel) Kustra, Matt (Anisa) Baeroosh, Sarah Baessler, and Zach Baessler, and her granddaughter, Sophie Kustra, as well as countless others that her light has touched.
