On December 3, 2019, Olga Ann Talda Krynock, aged 92, passed away peacefully. She is the widow of Joseph Francis Krynock. She is the mother of ten children: Joseph V. Krynock, Kathleen Clowes, Susan Smith, Thomas Krynock, Patti Mamula, Michael Krynock, Mark Krynock, Eileen Krynock, Lisa Salera and Kim Hanrahan. She is the grandmother of Michael and Steven Weisbrod; Erin, Sean, Paul, Brendan, Daniel and Rachel Clowes; Christopher and Jennifer Smith; Dave and Nick Krynock; Alicia, Jillian, and Jacob Krynock; Renee, Michelle, and Veronica Krynock; and Max and Nate Hanrahan. She is also survived by her brother Paul and sister-in-law Murial Talda, and many great-grandchildren.
Olga was born in Natrona Heights in 1927 to Anna Blahut Talda and Michael Talda. Her siblings were Josephine, Mary, Al, Helen and Paul Talda. She won a scholarship to Vincentian Academy, where she excelled scholastically and played the violin. She worked for several years as a bookkeeper. It was through that job that she met her beloved husband of 67 years, Joe Krynock. They met because of a wrong number, followed by a blind date: this was a story the couple loved to tell their children and grandchildren. She raised ten children with compassion, humor and a fierce intelligence. She was a remarkable person and will be deeply missed.
