Norman M. Pookman

Age 79, of Upper St. Clair, on Friday, May 22, 2015. Beloved husband of Rona C., for 53 loving years; loving father of Ken Pookman and Sandi (Randy) Quinn; brother of the late Roselynne and Harriet; grandfather of Hilary and Rebecca Quinn. Norman was a Hospital Corpsmen in the Navy. He had a strong passion for volunteering in his wife's classroom and throughout the school. He also had a strong passion and love for a variety of other interests. Among his favorite passions were sailing, photography, therapy dogs, training his own dogs, fly fishing, fly tying, duck hunting and cooking. When he was involved in something he gave it his all. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Tuesday in Temple Emanuel of the South Hills with a service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
