Norma J. Hammer

Age 84, of Banksville, passed away at home on Thursday, April 16, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of 62 years to the late George A. Hammer, loving mother of David (Janet), Kevin, Tim (Betty) Hammer, Karen Schlaegle (Russell); loving grandmother of Ashley, MacKenzie (Johnnie), Geena, Andrea, Bradley (Jess), Ryan (Kim), Casey (Ali); cherished great-grandmother of Nathan, Zeke, Reagan, Micah and Raymond; beloved sister of the late Philip and Frank Bickel. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and their families. Norma "Mrs. Hammer" worked for 35-plus years for the Diocese of Pittsburgh as the school secretary at St. Martin Elementary School and Elizabeth Seton Elementary School and was deeply loved by the school children as well as their parents.
