Nicholas P. Moore

Age 80, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016. Beloved husband of 54 years of Dolores (Russo) Moore; loving father of Laurie (Steven) Gressler of Erie, PA, Daniel (Elisa) Moore of South Fayette and Nicholas T. (Erika Cann-Moore) Moore of Brooklyn, NY; loving Pap Pap of Bradley, Benjamin and Jacob Gressler, Olivia and Julia Moore; brother of Angela Bishop, Joseph Moore and Gemma Moore; also survived by several aunts; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Nick started working at age 12 for his uncle, Rocco Vitale and Clarence Volp, where he learned his trade as a carpenter. Then, he started his own contracting business in the 70s where he continued until he retired from Nick Moore Construction Company in 2007. He was a council member and lecturer at St. Justin's Church, a board member of St. Justin's Plaza and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Nick started his day with an 8 a.m. visit to St. Justin's Catholic Church in Mt. Washington, where he lived his whole life.
